Lychee black tea made in the process of baking the fresh lychees into dried ones, using the Gongfu black tea as material and smoking them together under long-time low temperature. It uses Fuyun No.6 tea cultivar as raw material that features with sweet and mellow taste. While brewing, you can add other elements based on your taste, like lemon, rose, milk, honey and so on. Even on the first sip, you can still easily catch its pleasant sweetness, accompanied by a touch of honey and caramel.

The average annual temperature is about 16.4℃. The existing tea garden in this town covers an area of more than 16,000 mu, and it’s also the second largest tea producing area in Funding city

Tea Farmer
Tea farmer Mr. LinMr. Lin, who was born in Fuding in Fujian Province, grew up surrounded by tea. His tea plantation strictly carries out the highest quality standards by the domestic and EU rules. When he was in elementary school, he helped pick tea after school during the tea-picking season when there were not enough people to help with the harvesting. That’s when his dream of entering the tea business was born. Mr. Lin says: “My original idea was simply to make a good life for my family through my tea-growing business. But in 1993, when my tea business had gradually developed, I changed my mind. I want to create a long-term Organic Tea business.” It is because of the stick with this belief and his careful management of the tea garden; his tea is very popular with lots of tea lovers in and out of the country.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that Lin Jian is the founding father of Chinese white tea in the modern day. Fuding on the northeast coast of Fujian Province that has the first among the top three prestigious Gongfu black teas (Min Hong) of Fujian province. He also owns a 200-acre jasmine tea garden in Guangxi Province.

In 2008, his Silver Needle White Tea won the gold medal at the annual Chinese White Tea festival in Beijing.

Lychee Black Tea

The black tea material of lychee tea comes from Panxi Town, Fuding City, Fujian Province, which is located in the northeast of Fujian and is one of the famous tea-producing areas. Fuding belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate, which is characterized by the distinct oceanic climate. The average annual sunshine lasts 1840 hours; the average yearly temperature is 18.5°C; average annual precipitation is 1661.6 millimeters.

Lychee tea is a subtropical fruit produced in southern China, among which Guangdong province is the most cultivated area for lychee. Guangdong province is located in the southernmost part of mainland China and belongs to the East Asian monsoon region. The fertile land, warm climate, and abundant rainfall provide a perfect growth environment for the growth of lychee.

Fuding Cai Cha refers to the small leaf tea trees reproduced by seeds and also is a name for the older local varieties of tea. The history of planting Cai Cha is about 1000 years, and during this period, the tea trees grow naturally. Its features are late germination in spring and fat but little tea buds, which are suitable for making black tea, white tea, etc.

In the Tang Dynasty of China, Concubine Yang loved eating lychees. This tea cultivar belongs to large-leaf variety, a kind of small arbor tree that propagated asexually.
