The main processing steps to make this tea are : de-enzyming (fixation) – rolling – drying.
More precisely , the drying method applied to this tea is hot-air fixation (烘青). In general, the aroma of hot-air fixation type green teas are not so strong as the stir fixation types, but the former have a higher leaf integrity degree than the latter.

Today, this cultivar is widely grown in Zhejiang, Anhui, Hubei, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Guangxi and other tea producing areas in China, especially in regions south of the Yangtze River.
